Description: CD200, also known as OX-2, is a type I membrane protein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. CD200 molecules contain an extracellular domain of 202 amino acids and an intracellular tail domain of 19 amino acids. There are only two splice products of the CD200 molecule's intracellular domain. CD200 molecules are widely expressed in various cell types and interact with CD200R1， an inhibitory receptor of the immunoglobulin superfamily， which is mainly expressed on the surface of myeloid white blood cells and has the function of inhibiting bone marrow. CD200 plays an important role in preventing transplant rejection， autoimmune diseases， and natural abortion.
