Description: Type A immunoglobulin (IgA) plays an important role in mucosal immunity. On the membrane, the content of IgA is more than that of other types of antibodies. IgA usually exists in monomer and dimer forms, and can be divided into two sub-groups, IgA1 and IgA2, both of which are highly glycosylated immunoglobulin molecules. Serum IgA1 accounts for about 80% of the total IgA. According to the secretion location of IgA, it can also be divided into serum IgA and secretory IgA. IgA is closely related to human genetics, anti-infection immunity, immune-related diseases, and drugs related to related diseases. Therefore, specific monoclonal antibodies against IgA can be used as diagnostic reagents.
