Description: HGF is composed of 728 amino acids, and its active form is a heterodimer consisting of a 69 KD heavy chain (A) and a 34 KD light chain (B). The N-terminal of A chain has a hairpin structure, while B chain has an aminopeptidase-like structure. c-MET is the specific membrane surface receptor of HGF, expressed in various tissue cells such as cardiomyocytes and vascular endothelial cells, and mediates all biological effects of HGF. HGF is a widely acting factor that not only acts on hepatocytes but also regulates various tissues and cells.
