Rilogrotug is an immunoglobulin G1-kappa monoclonal antibody that targets GDF15. Growth Differentiation Factor 15 (GDF-15) is a cytokine belonging to the transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) superfamily. Under normal physiological conditions, it is expressed at low levels in multiple organs, but its expression significantly increases in the placenta and prostate, as well as in response to stress or pathological conditions such as renal failure, chronic liver disease, and cancer.
