Bocunebart is a IgG1 kappa monoclonal antibody that targets ADCYAP1. ADCYAP1， Adenosine cyclase activating peptide 1. It is encoded by the human ADCYAP1 gene, which is located on chromosome 18. ADCYAP1 encodes a secreted precursor protein, which is further processed into multiple mature peptides that stimulate adenylate cyclase and increase cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels, leading to transcriptional activation of the target gene. ADCYAP1 is a key mediator of neuroendocrine stress response, with various biological activities including promoting pituitary hormone secretion, improving animal reproductive performance, enhancing animal immunity, etc. It is mainly distributed in the nervous system and gastrointestinal tissues.
