Tixestobart is a IgG1 lambda2 monoclonal antibody that targets CD27. Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 7 (TNFRSF7, CD27, expressed directly by T, B, and NK cells and their precursors) and its only known ligand CD27L (TNFSF7, CD70, expressed only after activation by immune cells (dendritic cells DC, B cells, regulatory T cells, NK cells) provide co stimulatory signals that promote T cell activation, differentiation, and survival, generating a functional immune response.
