Description: Influenza B virus, like influenza A virus, can cause annual human influenza epidemics and is one of the components of seasonal trivalent / tetravalent vaccine for humans. Its surface glycoprotein HA can be divided into two antigenic lineages, Victoria and Yamagata, which are the main antigens that generate protective antibodies against the virus. Antibodies targeting HA can be used for accurate antigenic variation analysis and vaccine screening, as well as for detecting the virus as reagents. Some antibodies with neutralizing activity can be used as therapeutic drugs because they can inhibit viral replication.
